!! OMG, they won’t let up: Utah Right-Wingers !!

Well neither will we! A group called “America Forever” bought a full-page ad in the Salt Lake Tribune against gay rights.
Even anti-gay activists called the hate-ad too much:

Everything they’re doing crosses the line. There’s no need to have hateful discourse. Quite frankly, they make those of us who are on the side of traditional marriage — they make a lot of us — look bad.

  1. Sometimes I am so ashamed to live in this state. There really are a lot of gay-friendly people here…and a lot of gay people. The people in these groups running this ad and others like it are a minority.

  2. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and live by whatever interpretation of the Bible they choose, but I can’t think of anyone that has “chosen” to be gay. They really need to start reading for themselves to learn the real facts that homosexuality is certainly NOT a choice. I don’t believe that God makes mistakes and that’s who made me.

  3. Conservatives are often saying that homosexual behavior is “against nature” when every major medical association and guild all agree that homosexuality is perfectly natural. “shrug”

  4. I live in Utah and this common ground initiative is a big Mormon club (that way you can’t blame the LDS church.) The CGI believe that since utah is all about the utah communitees ultra right wing majority population, the minorities have to go with the flow, majority rule and all of that. My suggestion is to find out the names and businesses of those members of the CGI and dollar vote. Call those businesses and tell them why you are not going to give them business, boycott big businesses that have donated. Utah talks a big game but if you hit them in the wallet they cry discrimination, that theyre being attacked by mormon haters. lol seriously if you are against this call the advertisers of the slc trib and tell them all that you wont do business with any of them just because they do business with the slc trib and tell the trib you boycott all their advertisers because of this while dollar voting all the employers of the CGI faithful and let them know why too “sorry i wanted a pizza hut pizza but julie jones donated to the CGI so I and my family and friends will no longer give you our custom” or something. Thats how you stop these hate filled crazies. let them call names and you hit them in the wallet.

  5. Ironically, I’m glad they posted this ad. If anti-gay rights activists think it’s too zealous, then good, I want them all to look crazy and hateful. That’s what it boils down to, no matter how you sugarcoat it.
