Released for the Berlin Film Festival, new pictures of the French-language film Les Adieux a la Reine (Farewell, My Queen) show Diane Kruger as the infamous Marie Antoinette — begging the question, “OMG, will she show up Kirsten Dunst?!” Methinks she might. The film portrays the tipping point of the French Revolution from the perspective of Sidonie Laborde, the Queen’s reader. (Because when you’re the queen, why read?) Laborde is played by newcomer Lea Seydoux, who previously appeared in Midnight in Paris and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.
