It looks like Monopoly, but that’s where the similarity ends. In Patriot Act: The Game, players move around the board working towards the goal of being the last player left with any civil liberties. Spaces are color-coded according to the familiar U.S. “alert system,” and landing on these spaces results in the loss of civil liberties either by that player or by another player deemed “suspicious.” Other fun detours involve being interrogated by the FBI and being shipped off to Gitmo.
