Kylie Minogue’s “Padam” was inescapable this summer (and we couldn’t get enough), so obviously it was a blessing when she released the second track from her upcoming album Tension. The horniness of the title track is real, with overlapping ’70s disco, ’90s Euro-techno, and lyrics descriptive of an orgasm—a real club queen’s dream. While Kylie will always reign supreme, some of the new pop girls have been cooking up for us too. Tik-Tok star Addison Rae dropped her mixtape titled AR. The young star considers these a collection of throw-away tracks, but they sound nothing short of pop-perfection. Her song “2 die 4” featuring Charli XCX has been on repeat all month! And if you haven’t heard it yet, we’re sure you’ll dig it, too.
We’ve also been loving Eartheater’s new song “Pure Smile Snake Venom”. The experimental artist is serving us gloomy, textured, electronic, sexiness. Something to awaken your inner vamp—we all have it!
