2024 is now underway, but we can’t dive fully into this new year without looking at all the fun new tracks that came out last month.
One of our faves is “Drums” by Kim Petras and DJ James Hype. Leave it to Kim to make a Justin Timberlake sample sound so good! You can hear the desperation in her voice when she says, “The less you give to me the more I want it.” Spicy!
Another song we’re obsessing over is “f@k€” by Shygirl and Kingdom. This song is about owning all of your plastic surgery— looking like an alien, but making it fashion! If only Thierry Mugler were still around to hear this.
We’ve also been loving “Boy Next Door” from Lolahol, a sweet and sincere love letter from Madonna’s daughter to her crush next door.
