It’s a new year, and judging by the music coming our way, so far it’s looking hopeful!
This month, we’ve seen a new track from Montreal-based artist Antoine93. In “Free From Yr Love,” Antoine sing-songs about a lingering heartbreak in a sorrowful but sparkly way, over a hyperpop beat. This tune is evocative, catchy, and sure to have you bopping.
Boy Harsher put their dark-synth-wave spin on Perfume Genius‘s melodic and grungy song “Your Body Changes Everything.” We love both of these artists so were naturally excited about the remix. Remember when we interviewed Perfume Genius (twice)?
January has also gifted us a new Arca EP titled “Madre” (an ode the artist’s mother) that is dramatic, layered and beautifully composed.
