!! OMG Playlist: March 2021 !!

OMG.BLOG March 2021 Spotify playlistEvery month, our music editor ED curates a special selection of newly released music for the OMG Playlist on Spotify (follow us @omgblog).

OMG, it’s been a long winter but we made it through, and there is new music to greet us as we start to shed our layers!

One of our favorites this month is the new energetic dance single “Breaking Your Heart” by Toronto-based artists Chippy Nonstop and DJ Genderfluid. In this track, Chippy spews sexy and seductive vocals over a sped-up production by DJ Genderfluid. Try keeping up with all of these beats per minute without getting too into it and giving yourself whiplash. Make sure to check out DJ Genderfluid’s cool merch and keep an eye out for the duo’s new project coming out May 7th!

By now you should know who the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2 is, but it doesn’t matter! Congratulations to Lawrence Chaney, Ellie Diamond, Bimini Bon Boulash, and Tayce for being the Final Four and giving us their all. We love these queens, and we love their rendition of “A Little Bit of Love.” Thanks for getting us through the winter, Girls!

As you know, at OMG.BLOG we love and celebrate genitalia! We also love and celebrate Peaches! And we also encourage the wearing of masks! That’s why we were really excited to hear Peaches rap about their Pussy in the new song “Pussy Mask.” This banger puts a fun and comedic twist on our new daily reality of masks, which is something we all need right now! Don’t forget to check out the video here.

The playlist doesn’t stop there: We have a song for every mood of the spring, including new releases from Japanese Breakfast, Ionnalee, Mykki Blanco, Lana Del Rey, and Serpentwithfeet, plus the debut track from Texas-born, Brooklyn-based cowgirl crooner Allison Ponthier.
