“I was flattered that a young person wanted to portray me on a popular TV show but unfortunately this is where the flattery ends. I did not respect being described as an “old cookie woman” or being depicted as a washed up actress who has taken too many drugs.” She also criticized Sh*rry Pie (who you may recognise as the queen that was eliminated for sexual misconduct) portrayal of Katherine Hepburn: “I hope I am not associated with this TV show again. From my portrayal to making fun of Katherine Hepburn’s neurological disorder I found the show tasteless.”
– Rocky Horror’s Patricia Quinn on Aiden Zayne‘s impression and her hate-on for Drag Race in general.
Paula DeMarco – I hope you’re not as ugly on the outside as you are on the inside. The only “spotlight” for you is being a bitch behind your computer screen.
Spot on.
Sherry didnt even look or sound like Katherine Hepburn… the only gag was her neurological disorder. As for Aiden, he just has no experience or sisters to tell him not to do such an embarrassing act – Sherry has the experience to know better. Patricia Quinn being disgusted by how these men portray women makes a lot of sense – TV drag is an endless reel of misogyny.
Not a shock at all. I was shocked that Aiden did that impression especially having met her – awkward.
OK boomer. Disappointing comments. So out of touch….
She is literally at the oldest age bracket (1944) of the baby boomers lol.
Suck a dick, Paula DeMarco.
Agreed. As a big fan of Drag Race, I was shocked. Very disrespectful and just not funny. And why would you not portray Patricia as her character in Rocky Horror?? And I agree with the side note about Kathryn Hepburn as well. Using someone’s disability to enhance your “performance” is just bad taste and desperate although we all know Sherry is the epitome of “desperate”.
Great comeback, she’s still not relevant and should be thankful.
honestly, who cares. this actress was brought back into the spotlight by her so if anything she should be grateful even tho it wasn’t great. like whens the last time someone asked her for an interview or her work beyond the ONE cult film she did.
