Described as a queer sci-fi fantasy eco-conscious musical, Fogo Fatuo (Will-o’-the-Wisp) features a young prince who bucks family tradition to find work… and gay love… as a fireman. Directed by Joao Pedro Rodrigues, the film premiered at Cannes in 2022.

I watched the film part of it at the firestation was interesting, but the subject matter really objectified black people. Being Black I was not okay with that. It being art doesn’t excuse what happened in the film.

Awesome lighting, out in nature, able to see what their are working with. I can see beautiful brown skin, I myself would definitely work on that.
