  1. I’m also really disappointed that some websites are going on and on as if this show should be seen as something valuable or worthwhile, when we have shows like Pose and even in the superhero genre, we have Doom Patrol and Legends of Tomorrow. I agree, I would appreciate a well-drawn adaptation (as Kevin points out here) of say Midnighter and Apollo from the Authority, that’s full of action and adventure, but where two of the main leads just happen to be boyfriends, but seriously, if any gay kids have been ‘waiting on’ this POS, I feel for them.

  2. I’ll give the first (and maybe second) episode a chance, but this feels like a 90s show, not something that would be anything other than minstrelsy in 2021. I don’t see this as interesting, useful, or helpful (not that that is its job, but not hurting the cause and community is nice) in any way.

  3. *sigh* as a homo, it’s a very small portion of my life. It’s not a big deal either. Why can’t we get something like the Midnighter animated or Invincible, except the main character just happens to have a boyfriend? This feels so out of touch.
