When was the last time you saw a 5.25 in floppy disk? I think I still have some in my storage unit: old computer games I couldn’t bear to part with and now couldn’t install if I wanted to. I can’t seem to part with them, maybe because they used to come in those big nice boxes that were about 1/3 larger than the current ones. Inside would be a big stack of 5.25 floppy disks and a nice manual with illustrations.
As a tribute to the bygone glory of this obsolete media, Acorn Studios has made them into covers for these cute notebooks, which turn an otherwise sad end to the 5.25 floppy into a beautiful resurrection. (via Oh Gizmo!)
Oh those boys at Boing Boing always get everything first. Well I hope the notebooks haven’t sold out by now.
