Actor Ryan Phillippe sat down with Ricky Camilleri from Huffington Post Live to chat about his work and about his relationship with his ex Reese Witherspoon and their two kids Ava, 15, and Deacon, 10.
The actor admits, “[we’ve] gotten to a really great place.” and that they recently told their kids about everybody’s favourite over-acted melodrama of the 90’s CRUEL INTENTIONS! YASSSSS! Welcome to being a teenager, Ava!
When Reese was in New York City promoting Gone Girl and Wild, he met up with her and the kids for a great day in Central Park. “We got to meet up as a family and took a walk through Central Park with the kids, and it was funny-we were reminiscing then because we shot a lot of Cruel Intentions [there], so there we were with Ava and Deacon talking, and they were tripping out on the fact that we were there shooting a movie before they were even a thought in our minds,” Ryan explained on HuffPost Live.
You know it’s great that Reese and Ryan broke it down for Eva and Deacon, but the bitch who’s really gotta worry about breaking the news to her kids is our gurl SMG! It’s one thing for Reese and Ryan to get all cry-facey and run around Central Park while The Counting Crows play, but poor Sarah Michelle is gonna have to explain THIS to her kids (GIFs after the jump).
Oh and Freddy Prinze Jr. is gonna have to explain Summer Catch! That’s a talk no parent wants to have.
