This is a very disturbing image. Depictions of self-harm are triggering. At the very least you need to label this to avoid causing someone harm from seeing it.
German plays have so much awkward frontal nudity in them. It’s never sexy. They should take a page from Jesse Williams’ book because his on stage nudity was everything.
Because not all nudity is supposed to be sexy. Only in the US nudity is always associated with sex and/or has the purpose to excite and sell. In the rest of the world it might or it may not, there is no such immediate association. For example Tatort the German police show has tonnes of nudity and is almost never ever sexual.
