Leave it to Peaches to look at a song called “You’re Alright” and decide the correct visual accompaniment is a Peabody-winning documentarian and Russia’s most confrontational latex creature. Galdanova directed Queendom, the film that followed Marvin through Magadan, St. Petersburg, a Navalny protest and eventually exile in Paris, all of it in platform heels and white face paint while strangers screamed. So this is not a “hire a cool director for the vibes” situation. These three have spent their entire careers making people uncomfortable on purpose, and now they’ve formed a little committee about it.
“You’re Alright” comes off No Lube So Rude, which arrived back in February and remains the funniest album title of the year. Check out the video above!
