Cher has won a royalty battle with Sonny Bono’s widow.
Mary Bono (Sonny Bonos wife) attempted to claim in 2021 that through termination rights she could stop paying royalties to Cher for any Cher & Sonny songs.Cher said “Heeell no!”, and brought it to court. SCHNAPP OUTTAVIT!
Cher has since won her lawsuit against her greedy ex-husbands wife.
Mary Bono will now owe Cher about $418,000 in royalties that would’ve been paid out to Cher as of June 30, 2022.
It just goes to show at even at 78 years old, you can still have a hot young man and millions of dollars coming your way!
