Bisexual people always marry the opposite sex, as if to say lesbian/gay people are good enough to screw but not good enough to love. Then they ask why we’re leery of them. That has been my experience, at least. I don’t deny bisexual people’s queerness and I don’t erase bisexuality, but I do question the extent to which bisexual people internalize homophobia and perpetuate heterosexism since they can pass by only getting into relationships society seems acceptable and treating us like we’re only worthy of secretive meaningless lays.
