I think it’s safe to say that if he did truly make “awful music” that he wouldn’t have had a career that’s spanned across 4+ decades!! Just because something isn’t your style or your own personal tastes does not equate to being awful. You’d think as gays we wouldn’t have so very many throughout our community who are so insanely quick to bash and/or condemn others.
Extravagant? Yes.
Friendly, welcoming, interesting, personalized, appealing, desirable? NOPE!
