The fallout of the Britney Spears documentary that brings to light the toxic culture of the music industry and the type of abuse Britney faced, has resulted in Justin Timberlake coming forward to apologize and address the criticism he’s faced for his role in both Britney and Janet’s scandals he was involved. He didn’t really experience criticism from the press the same way the ladies did, and many say he made things worse by using the scandals to further his career by shaming the women. I wonder how many people wrote that. JT wouldn’t have a career if he didnt prop himself up using women / people of color. He tries to market himself as the baby Michael Jackson, while tearing down his sister, yet NEVER apologizing until his clout is sullied by social media. He performs with a hologram of Prince, ignoring Prince’s specific wishes post-death. JT’s entire stylings were appropriated using the success of POC without the same barriers.. if any. He doesn’t need to be cancelled, just retired.
