!! OMG, quote of the day: Non-binary ‘…And Just Like That’ star Sara Ramírez speaks out against profile on them !!

Che Diaz is not pleased! And you don’t wanna ruffle their perfectly groomed coif, know THAT! Actor Sara Ramírez is speaking out against a profile featuring them in a piece for ‘The Cut’ in June, but Ramírez has now gotten around to processing the article and addressing it this week via Instagram. Find their statement after the jump! Thoughts?

“Been thinking long and hard about how to respond to The Hack Job’s article, ‘written’ by a white gen z non-binary person who asked me serious questions but expected a comedic response I guess (?). Here’s the good news: I have a dry sense of humor and a voice. And I am not afraid to use either. I am not the fictional characters I have played, nor am I responsible for the things that are written for them to say. When a cis man is in charge and has ultimate control of dialogue actors say, and you have a valid problem with it, perhaps you should be interviewing him.”

  1. Sara’s diva antics allegedly go all the way back to when they were in Julliard. They take themselves VERRRY seriously.

I honestly didn’t see what the big problem with the profile in The Cut is.

  2. I think that it has to do with the fans not liking the character of Che than anything else.

  3. The Che character is horrible. They need to be written off the show. That opinion is not a reflection of how I feel about Sara as a person. Sara is great.
