The Power Rangers Movie’s infamous, and incredibly camp villainess Rita Repulsa will be played by Elizabeth Banks, it has been announced.
As one of the primary antagonists of Might Morphin’ Power Rangers, Rita Repulsa has long been rumored to be part of the Power Rangers adaptation. But now it’s been finally confirmed with Banks’ casting—joining Naomi Scott, Ludy Lin, Becky G, RJ Cyler, and Dacre Montgomery, who will play the titular Rangers.
Aside from Naomi Scott, — I really CAN’T with those teen actor NAMES! Generation X parents and their baby names. Sweet Jesus!
Anyway, Banks enthusiastically announced the news via her Twitter today. This remake better have some Hunger Games sized money behind it. Thoughts!? Will u be watching?
