It’s not being interested in the job. It’s booking the job based on parents. Stepping ahead of everyone else because of parents. The kids are already ahead because they think of “acting” as a possible job and they have agents/directors/producers at all their school shows. But then they also skip the line. Get hired with no acting ability and an acting coach hired afterwards.
