Hmmmm. This is isn’t the first time Sony‘s taken a major Oscar-buzzy film of theirs and straight-washed it in the adverts for its audience. Check out another example or two after the jump! I don’t think this is what they had in mind when they said CALL ME BY YOUR NAME…

What a bullshit post. I’ve you paid attention you would have seen that Sony simply reposted a poster made by Rotten Tomatoes, they didn’t make it themselves.
“This is isn’t the first time Sony‘s taken a major Oscar-buzzy film of theirs and straight-washed it in the adverts for its audience” …. Brokeback Mountain was not even released by Sony; check your facts
I took the time to actually scroll through the @SonyPicturesUK twitter feed and I could see no evidence of straight washing. There were posts and posts of pictures and video showing the two guys together. So I don’t know where you’re getting this information from but I think that it’s being faked.
It’s common sense from a business point of view. This way, they’ll entice a wider audience. The human race will end up as limp as Trump’s dick if we carrying on getting more delicate and weak like this.
