This makes us a little uncomfortable for some reason. Maybe because the idea of trying to hide the fact that your gay already has such a strong association with the stigma so many have had to face throughout history – annnd the fact that they’re trying not to be found out makes it a bit uncomfortable for us too. Somehow the fact that it’s for money makes it better? Check out ‘6 Straight Men vs 1 Secret Gay Man’ above! Thoughts?
I watched all of this and I didn’t like it at all. Not only does it presume that gays will have certain stereotypical traits or mannerisms, it also really pushes the “bro-ism” of the hetero guys. No one looks good in this, everyone appears trite and foolish. More than anything else, a show like this is just not necessary or helpful. I’d assume most people, by now, know someone openly gay, who is an individual and thinks independently. This is going backwards.
