How the hell did Transformers not make the list? There were stampedes of customers to match that of the Cabbage Patch Kids stampedes, running into stores to get Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Megatron, Starscream, or any other Transformers that debuted in 1984. The only difference now between Transformers and Cabbage Patch Kids is that Transformers are still going strong 35 years later.
And weren’t Tamagotchis and Furbies the must-have toys back in late 90’s/early 2000’s? No mention of them either and the money those products pulled in during the holidays during those years must mean they were hot enough to cause Holiday Insanity.
