Even after half a dozen attacks on the rainbow flag, one Michigan neighborhood is showing that their community won’t back down to hate and violence. A new security video out of Lansing, Michigan from early Tuesday morning features a man dousing a Pride flag in gasoline before lighting it on fire — and he nearly takes himself with it. Well that was not what I expected to see after reading the lede… He did NOT almost set himself on fire. The Flag and everything else he doused with fuel burst into flame, and that was all. It was a spectacular ignition, and all we see is his success at accomplishing his act of destruction. Claiming that “Arsonist almost sets himself on fire” in this instance is like saying a person who drives through an intersection with a green light, almost ran a red light. I wish he had almost set himself on fire, but instead he just got away with a hate crime.
Skinny fucker will get his. I hope it’s at the end of a match.
