Scary Spice aka Mel B had fans worries this week when she appeared on TV with apparent massive bruising on one side of her face. Various circumstances leading up to her appearance suggested that Mel may have fallen victim to a domestic dispute at the hands of her husband (via ONTD):
– On Saturday, Mel B was rushed to hospital ‘in agony’ & missed the X Factor finale.
– She returned on Sunday’s finale results show, with what appeared to be ‘facial bruising’, ‘swelling’ & ‘scratches’ on upper arms.
– Mel’s sister Danielle & estranged mother Andrea were on Twitter accusing producers & Mel’s husband of being told ‘lies’ about her condition & where she was being treated.
– Various allegations being floated include: Corrective eye surgery (Mel is blind in one eye), Stomach problems (X Factor’s official reason), Domestic violence (Mel did not wear her wedding ring on Sunday despite wearing it every episode, husband has history of domestic violence).
