High school student-turned-Harajuku fashion blogger and model Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, a.k.a. Carrie, a.k.a. きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ, has just released a brilliantly addictive music video for her debut single ‘PonPonPon.’ If you’re bored on the Internet or torturing a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay, this video should do the trick.
Kyary, who is apparently well known in the Harajuku fashion world for her ‘strange face’ and dolly styles, is preparing to release the mini-album Moshi Moshi Harajuku (“Hello Harajuku”) in August. Check out this interview with her in Time Out Tokyo. Best part:
How have the sales been for the tsukema (artificial eyelashes) you brought out?
A lot of people came to buy them, and I’m happy they liked them. One man bought so many of them and I’m wondering what he is going to do with them…(laughs)!
Thanks to Miss Margot for the tip!
