This is one of those moments when you realize you’re looking at the future. Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin are the two Swedish design students who invited Hovding (the Swedish word for chiefdom), which is an inflatable helmet worn around the neck. And while it’s only in development as a bike helmet now, the implications for this kind of technology are exponential. Not bad news for Haupt and Alstin’s bank accounts. Or as their professor put it, “You’re going to be millionaires.” Check out the video below for more.
