Montreal-based technology-centric clothing designer Ying Gao is totally making my Halloween costume this year, I’m thinking twink-activated gyrating ghetto booty ass pants and musically activated blinking-eye nipple tassels.
For her glow-in-the-dark project ‘(No)where(Now)here’ Gao produced two dresses made of photo-luminescent thread and activated by eye-tracking robotic technology:
“Chiaroscuro (clarity/obscurity) is achieved through an unfixed gaze.”
OK Ying, time to sit down and start stitching together my “CLAP-CLAP” BOOTY FROCK !
