To prep for an upcoming European tour, Portland-based disco duo Glass Candy revved up their arsenal of spooky dance anthems at a handful of Canadian club gigs last week. They kicked things off at new Toronto venue The Garrison on Thursday, alongside Italo-minded openers Desire and Parallels. Singer Ida No spent most of the night busting aerobic dance moves and shrieking along to crowd favorites like ‘Beautific’ and ‘Geto Boys’, while bandmate Johnny Jewel manned the synths.
