!! OMG, strike a pose: Ralph Pucci in ‘Apotheosis’ !!

“Apotheosis (from Greek ἀποθέωσις from ἀποθεοῦν, apotheoun “to deify”; in Latin deificatio “making divine”; also called divinization and deification) is the glorification of a subject to divine level.”
In this beautifully shot snip-tit, mannequin creator Ralph Pucci attempts to dispel peoples Hitchcockian fears of the mannequin, speaking instead of the unachievable ‘perfection’ that the mannequin form represents:

“Mannequins are definitely the workhorses of the [fashion] industry…As perfect as famous supermodels are, mannequins are even better”

Also, mannequin supermodels will not throw their cellphone at you!
Pucci does a really good job of speaking of his models in a sort of divine architectural aspiration sort of a way..until he says; “as time has gone on they have become much more active”
OK, now we’re back to creepy Dr Who Mannequin Madness gone amok, plastic department store-props-with-guns world take-over scenario again!
