Baby-making cult leaders Jim Bob and Michelle took to their Facebook page this week to ask for folks to post photos on their page of themselves kissing their spouse with the following message:
God designed marriage to be a loving, dynamic relationship between a husband and wife for a lifetime. God loves marriage and it is supposed to be full of love, joy, fun and romance. Marriage is where romance belongs! Recently, Ben & Jessa received some criticism for posting a kissing picture. We are so grateful they waited to share their first kiss until after marriage. We’ve been married 30 years and are still in love! We had fun trying to duplicate Ben and Jessa’s happily married kissing picture. We challenge all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it here.
Well, people posted. Interracial couples, gay couples, they all pitched in, but some found their posts were deleted. Theirs were unwelcome:
Somehow I’m not exactly shocked that someone named Jim Bob isn’t into the whole gay love vibe.
But this story already has a happy ending — because out of 19 kids — Jim Bob and Mish are gonna have a few gays of their own to love and be proud of (whether they like it or not). Their own flesh and blood!
okay, and what about the interracial couples?
@Anonymous: There is a big difference between religious and cultish. They are more devoted to raking in millions from a reality TV show, book deals, and speaking engagements than they are their so called “faith”. Their belief system says that female members of the family belong to Jim Bob until they get married and then they belong to the husband. Belong, as in like property. That’s not religion, that’s mental illness.
Did anyone really expect different? They are very religious people devoted to their faith of course they weren’t gonna allow a picture of men kissing on their facebook page. Is what it is and leave them be to it.
No families like that don’t have gay children they just have an unusually high suicide rates
Are the Duggars neighbors of the Robertsons? If they are anti-everything I think they might be bigots.
