PBS has this segment called “Blank on Blank” where they animate old audio interviews, often from music greats that are no longer with us. This month, they put a rare 1993 Kurt Cobain interview to ink and paper, and now you can listen to the lost interview with an animation to accompany it.
The Nirvana frontman (who would have been 47 years old yesterday) talks about growing up as a child, hanging out with mostly women, who he listened to, and questioning his sexuality:
“I even thought that I was gay. I thought that might be the solution to my problem.”
