Apparently we’re doing this now. Lux legwear brand Emilio Cavallini sells stockings for both genders, although the unisex styles boast added elasticity and breathability — because no one wants swamp crotch in their mantyhose. Company VP Francesco Cavallini explained why the trend is catching on: “I think the mantyhose are being worn for warmth under pants during cold weather months and also at home to lounge around in….the tights are comfortable.” And now we know what he puts on when he gets home from work.

My BF is a former dancer – thin body type. In colder weather he’s like a shivering Chihuahua. Usually he wears thermal underwear, but sometimes they’re too heavy or too warm, so for years he’s been wearing dance tights under his pants. Those look basically the same. I wonder if they’re cheaper than Danskin?
Good grief, that’s the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen, but I’m sure the skinny-jeans hipster queens will fall all over themselves to wear them. I’ll pass, thank you.
Never, ever EVER in a million years!!
