Addison Rae just dropped her debut album, Addison, and honestly, it’s a pretty solid pop record! Produced entirely by women—Elvira Anderfjärd and Luka Kloser—it’s got a clear sense of style and purpose. The sound is bright, melodic, and electronic—the kind of vibe you’d expect from a summer pop album. Our favourite track, Fame is a Gun, is giving us early Britney and Grimes, mixing sweet vocals with a darker, moodier beat underneath!
Erika de Casier’s new album Lifetime has been on heavy rotation here. Produced by the artist herself, the songs sound very tight and personal. The album has a trip-hop vibe—soft, atmospheric, a little sensual, but still emotionally honest. It comes on very naturally, and that’s why we love it.
Then there’s Fancy That by PinkPantheress, who’s been mixing bedroom pop with drum and bass. The album references UK rave sounds without feeling stuck in the past. Girl Like Me is a standout, sampling Basement Jaxx’s Romeo and turning it into something delicate and dreamy. Even when the beats hit hard, there’s a strong emotional pull that stays with you!
