Brazil’s golden girl just made our hearts do a perfect 10! Rebeca Andrade, Olympic champion, Beyoncé collaborator, and the most decorated Brazilian gymnast in history, just came out over the weekend by posting a sweet photo with her girlfriend on Instagram.

“Haiti’s presence at the Winter Olympics is a symbol, it is a statement, not a coincidence,”

Haiti’s ambassador to Italy, Gandy Thomas, expressed in an interview with the AP. “We may not be a winter country, but we are a nation that refuses to be confined by expectation. Absence is the most dangerous form of erasing.”

Apparently, they weren’t allowed to paint the revolutionary who helped free Haiti who is riding on the horse because IoC said it was too political – BUT they did get away with the horse itself. The inspiration artwork is ‘Toussaint Louverture’ by Edouard Duval-Carrie:
