Divergent heartthrob Theo James is back in action in the new HBO Max series The Time Traveler’s Wife! Not only does he have five nude scenes in the premiere episode, a young version of his character Henry, played by Brian Altemus, travels back in time to do what many teenagers would do if they could… Practice actual self love! It’s a viral scene that made headlines and divided the show’s hardcore fanbase (and you can see it after the NSFW jump).

The plot (if you care!): Henry is a Chicago librarian with a genetic condition that makes hims spontaneously time travel. This muddles his romantic relationship with Rose Leslie’s Claire, but the two try to make it work nonetheless. For she is The Time Traveler’s Wife. James time travels in the nude, which is why his butt features so prominently in the show.

Now onto the controversial time-traveling BJ scene… Brian Altemus is a dead ringer for a young Theo James. Brian plays a 16-year-old Henry, but don’t worry, he is a fully grown 25 years old. 
In The Time Traveler’s Wife, Brian gets discovered by his dad in his bedroom, blowing himself under the sheets! Some fans have voiced outrage over this shocking scene, but we think that it’s simply a head of its time.

I still can’t figure out why the blowing himself scene is so shocking, it’s literally in the book! Except he’s 15 when it happens. Anyway, Theo is gorgeous and can run around naked in front of me any time.
