“We’re living in a time when we might not have the future president that we wanted in this country,” Osbourne told the largely LGBTQ audience. “And as an immigrant who can’t vote, I don’t really get to say much. But tonight, I do. People voted for him. So just like they gave us a chance to love equally, we will fight to keep that. But we have to give him a chance,” said Osbourne. “And we do it by spreading love, not hate. Thank you so much to The Trevor Project, not for this award, but because of what you do. You save so many lives.”
– A hopeful, (yet blind?) Kelly Osbourne in a speech accepting an award from The Trevor Project LGBTQ youth crisis prevention group, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Just a quick reminder that Trump‘s Vice President elect, Mike Pence, believes in gay-conversion therapy, and The Trevor Project supports LGBTQ youth who are suicidal…
wondered if I made a big mistake…
I wish straight celebrities would stop telling gays what to think.
Kelly, kelly, Kelly… Trump won the Electoral College and lost the popular vote by several millions.
To stand in front of an LGBTQ audience and tell us to accept Trump and his minions? No F*cking way.
From the top to the bottom of his appointments is there any of them who support LGBTQ rights.
We won’t hold our breath.
The Trevor Project should apologize for giving an any recognition to this tired has-been who obviously needs her meds adjusted again.
KO is hopeful … that’s nice. Nieve, but nice.
When accepting an award, may I suggest just saying “thank you” and leaving the stage? It’s not the time to make a political statement or even say anything more. And, quite frankly, this woman has absolutely no talents, abilities, or gifts other than being some shock singer’s offspring. Why are they giving her an award when so many queer youth and hard working advocates would be uplifted if they got an award?
