What happens when you wrap yourself up in the comforting trappings of love only to find the love itself is no longer there or isn’t what you thought it was? It can be sad, but you’ll learn something, maybe even transform into someone new, better equipped for the next phase or feeling. That’s how we interpret “Soft Chains,” the new sweetly sad single from Mear.
Directed by artist Kerry Zentner, the video features bandmates Frances Miller and Greg Harrison undergoing fantastical transformations in a secluded cabin after a chance meeting with a spider.
