Strange, abundant pubes are often the surest sign of a prosthetic, as they allow for hiding all of the seams, glue, etc. No pubes at all can be done like a bald cap, but requires way more makeup. In my experience, some public hair, trimmed neatly as one would expect is most often genuine.
