  1. Didn’t realize you were there.

  2. HG– sorry you do not make any sense.
“But the prosecution didn’t have adequate evidence to incriminate Jussie”
Of course they did, he was indicted on 16 counts by a Grand Jury.
The police did the investigation, the State’s Attorney office filed the charges based on the evidence, the GJ indicted.
Not a huge fan of Chris Rock, but he was funny and absolutley correct.

    • You don’t seem to understand the difference between an indictment and a conviction, which just goes to show that people are perfectly happy pre-judging this case as long as that judgment falls on the side they desire (in this case, anti-Jussie). All I’m saying is that the people who mocked the media and liberals for initially showing sympathy for him are hypocrites.

  3. I’m admittedly a bit confused re: Jussie Smollett but I have some questions. So the whole conservative uproar when he became a suspect basically carried the message of “Ha! Libs jumped to conclusions before the facts were in and that was wrong.” But the prosecution didn’t have adequate evidence to incriminate Jussie, whose lawyers report he stands by his story and his lawyers say they welcome an FBI investigation. That was why he got off. And yet we seem to have accepted the narrative that he did do wrong and deserves to be shunned for it. Why? None of us have the facts? We just have two sides at loggerheads in this disagreement. We’ve got Jussie, a celebrity who we know very little about. And we’ve got the Chicago PD, that has a long history of shady business by virtue of being an institution in the public eye for longer than JS. None of us really knows anything here. I wish people would take their own advice and stop jumping to conclusions, lest they become hypocrites. Not to mention I have no special love for Chris Rock who defended Kevin Hart when he was facing accountability for his homophobia…
