Actually, she might not have been smart enough to know what Popeye’s favorite food is spinach, but she wasn’t exactly wrong either, because Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken acquired rights to use Popeye the Sailor for marketing and used him and the other Popeyes characters for 35 years to sell chicken. So he eats spinach, but he sells chicken. I find her weird physicality more off putting than her brain.
She really brought the term “dumb blonde” into reality.
