!! OMG, He’s Allen Ginsberg: James Franco stars in ‘Howl’ !!

James Franco — everyone’s favorite angel-headed hipster — is playing a famous gay historical figure again, this time legendary poet Allen Ginsberg in the new Howl. The film tells the story of the 1957 obscenity charges against bookstore owner Lawrence Ferlinghetti, who was brought to trial for the crime of selling copies of Ginsberg’s dirty poem. The poem in question, of course, is now probably one of the most famous and celebrated American poems of the 20th century.

While the movie is on a very important and fascinating topic, the main reason to see it is obvs for the hot men. Not only is Franco the star, but Jon “Don Draper” Hamm has a star turn as a dapper fifties lawyer. I’ve got my ticket already!
