!! OMG, How Amazing: Boy Trapped on Ice Floe With Polar Bears! !!

This is some kraziness! I know some people are going to be mad this kid killed the mom polar bear, but those things do not play! The babies, on the other hand, seem very charming and kuddly…

A Canadian teenager has been rescued from an ice floe drifting in the Arctic sea, where he was reportedly stranded with two polar bears.

Search and rescue teams parachuted onto the 15m (40ft) floe after spotting the 17-year-old Inuit youth from the air.

They told the BBC he appeared to have shot and killed a mother polar bear in self-defence, orphaning her two cubs.

The teenager is being treated for mild hypothermia and frostbite in the small town of Coral Harbour, on Hudson Bay.

  1. yeah really…poor polar bear, who gives a damn about the kid?

  2. I hope you’re being sarcastic lutz if not you’re an idiot. How do you know the polar bear was “innocent”? They said it was self defense. I could understand if they were just out in the wild and he just randomly killed it, but he was trapped on a floe with it. I’m pretty sure the bear attacked and he killed it. You can’t tell me that if you were stuck on the ice floe with a polar bear mom and were attacked you wouldn’t have done the same thing. It’s called survival. Or maybe you would. “Omg! I cant kill this bear. It’s about to rip me to shreds but it’s innocent!”

  3. F**king bastard…wish the Polar Bear got him forst. Take the guns away from idiots like this!

    what an ASSHOLE.
killing an innocent polar bear just cuz he feared for his life…the question is, WTF was he doing on a thin layer of floating ice…he’s a fucking douche orphaning those 2 poor innocent baby bears to fend for themselves in the arctic cold. I hope karma gets him real good…up the ass like he deserves!
