Bedroom popsters Antony and the Johnsons have a new EP called Swanlights coming out, and they’re letting people download the new song, Thank You For Your Love, for the very cheap price of just your e-mail address. Which, honestly, selling e-mail addresses to spammers is probably one good way to survive in the music industry these days! (I’m sure the genteel and sensitive Antony is not doing that, though.)
And how’s the song? If you ask me, this song sounds more like an Antony and the Johnsons parody than anything else, but you know. It’s free!
