SNL comedic legend Cheri Oteri spoke about doing this parody interview with Barbara herself while she appeared on CNN the day after Walters passed away at 93 last month. Cheri said it was a true honour to be able to impersonate Barbara Walters in this way, but have her blessing as well. Check out the comedic send-up worth revisiting above!

    I’m pretty sure Barbara Walters is on the record as saying she hated these impersonations, her speech irregularities were a major hardship for her.

      Her poor and biased interview skills were a major hardship for a lot of people she interviewed so who cares, it’s funny.
