Take our money! – And until then, we’ll leave a lil can simmering on the stove.
Yes, it’s official! Campbell’s Soups are now selling 2000 of these soup-scented candles for $24 each, and have pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds to Feeding America.
Campbellās chief marketing officer for Meals & Beverages, Linda Lee, says āThe magic of winter sparks fond memories. Campbellās is excited to continue our mission of creating family moments and memories for all through our partnership with Camp.ā
Launching today, the soup giant has teamed up with the experience-oriented retail brand Camp to release candles in two signature Campbellās scents: Chicken Noodle Soup and Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese. The former is said to offer ānotes of savory chicken, cloves and buttery crackersā while the latter is billed as featuring āroasted tomato, peppercorn and gooey grilled cheese.āDesign-wise, Campbellās says the look of the candles was inspired by the brandās recent stackable snowman cans (you even pull the top off like a soup can) which themselves are a tie-in to Campbellās animated āSnowbuddyā television commercial. To further hammer that connection home, once melted down, the candle contains a small āSnowbuddyā snowman figure that customers can keep after the wax is gone.
Okay, the collectible ‘snowbuddy’ thing is just unnecessary. This isn’t Beanie Babies, guys! …Or is it? TY Warner better watch out! Chicago-area Karens will be probably living for this.
OR buy a can of condensed soup for $1.00 and simmer it on the stove for $23 in savings!
So Gwyneth’s vagina candle wasn’t enough? Anyone want to buy my new candle? Today’s scent: My chili farts.
