!! OMG, Campbell’s Soup are selling limited-edition soup-scented candles !!

Take our money! – And until then, we’ll leave a lil can simmering on the stove.

Yes, it’s official! Campbell’s Soups are now selling 2000 of these soup-scented candles for $24 each, and have pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds to Feeding America.

Campbell’s chief marketing officer for Meals & Beverages, Linda Lee, says “The magic of winter sparks fond memories. Campbell’s is excited to continue our mission of creating family moments and memories for all through our partnership with Camp.”

Launching today, the soup giant has teamed up with the experience-oriented retail brand Camp to release candles in two signature Campbell’s scents: Chicken Noodle Soup and Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese. The former is said to offer “notes of savory chicken, cloves and buttery crackers” while the latter is billed as featuring “roasted tomato, peppercorn and gooey grilled cheese.”

Design-wise, Campbell’s says the look of the candles was inspired by the brand’s recent stackable snowman cans (you even pull the top off like a soup can) which themselves are a tie-in to Campbell’s animated “Snowbuddy” television commercial. To further hammer that connection home, once melted down, the candle contains a small “Snowbuddy” snowman figure that customers can keep after the wax is gone.

Okay, the collectible ‘snowbuddy’ thing is just unnecessary. This isn’t Beanie Babies, guys! …Or is it? TY Warner better watch out! Chicago-area Karens will be probably living for this.
