OMG Playlist March 2026

Every month, our music editor ED curates a special selection of newly released music for the OMG Playlist on Spotify (follow us @omgblog).

One of many sounds on repeat for March is Underscores – U. In this album, Underscores strikes the perfect balance between everyday, palatable pop and edges of experimental abrasiveness. “Body Feeling” sounds like a Carly Rae Jepsen song that’s been slightly jacked up. Personally, we love this combination, and we think you will too.

That’s not to say we’re not into the full sludge sound—in fact, we have a real penchant for it! It comes up many times in this playlist in tracks such as:

Fun Fun Mix series presents Tommy Hart for their 65th edition:

Tommy is a matchmaker of soul and sound, crafting moments of euphoria and release from inside the booth. Shaped by his formative years in New York, he blends deep, soul-snatching rhythms with ecstatic, peak-time anthems, guiding dancers toward empowerment, expansiveness, and freedom. At home in Mexico City, Hart frames the juxtaposition of chaos and control in the city as a never-ending dialogue between house and techno–gathering heat, simmering and shaking, until finally reaching a boiling point. Legendary filmmaker, writer, and cultural provocateur John Waters goes record shopping at Amoeba San Francisco in this “What’s In My Bag?” episode.

John talks about some of the best bad girl groups, including The Shangri-Las and The Donnas, plus ’70s New York punk rock, a critically-panned movie soundtrack & more.

!! OMG, new music: Grumpy Truck releases ‘Ur My Rock’, a song influenced by italo and 2010’s hip-hop !!

Toronto musician Grumpy Truck returns with a new single that’s tender, a little cheesy, and completely intentional. In his own words, Luka Brull:

“Ur My Rock is a blend of my italo-disco and 2010s hip-hop influences. I first made the beat while feeling very lonely in Beijing, and it became a song about my ideal night with a man. 

It definitely represents a new level of confidence for me, especially because I’m leaning into feelings I used to avoid or write around. I say a lot of cheesy double entendres (ex. “I am your b-side”). I would’ve thought that was so corny last year, and it is, but that’s exactly why its so hot to me, because I really, really mean it.”

The track was co-produced by Kurtis Perrie and Bjorn Kriel. Album photos were shot by Baste Magazine, who are also launching their third zine issue this weekend in Toronto — an issue that features Brull, and where Grumpy Truck will perform.

OMG Playlist February 2026

Every month, our music editor ED curates a special selection of newly released music for the OMG Playlist on Spotify (follow us @omgblog).

We are so excited this month about the new Peaches album, No Lube So Rude. We are raw dogging it!

Peaches has been fueling our fun for decades now. Her track “Hanging Titties” is as raw and unapologetic as ever. We love the in-your-face sexuality she delivers. Make sure you catch our fresh Q&A with Peaches to get the full scope on her latest album.

On a slightly hazier note, we’re also loving Lana Del Rey’s new song “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter.” It feels like a return to form with this one. Lana is giving us a dark, slow-burning fantasy that feels haunting and sensual at the same time. It lingers long after the final note, like perfume on a night gown!!

We’re also loving Namasenda’s “Miami Crest.” This track is an icy pop banger with a sharp edge! It’s giving us rushes of euphoria with notes of dissonance. This is the kind of neon track we like to feature consistently every month.
