Each month, we curate a playlist of our favorite new releases, showcasing a variety of sounds with a focus on independent, dance-forward artists. But we also like to mix it up and offer a little bit of everything. In the age of algorithmic playlists and endless new music, you can feel good knowing you’re listening to our carefully curated selection.
We love techno—of all speeds! We appreciate how it can shift from fast to slow. Lady Starlight, Lady Gaga’s former DJ, has dropped some slick new tracks. Our favorite is “One,” which maintains a steady pace. But if you’re looking to crank it up a notch, Sonniku‘s “Pest Control” and Ellen Allien’s “How It Looks Like” will take you all the way there!
We even have a taste of the ’80s for you. Tina Turner is rocking our world from beyond, with her unreleased song “Hot for You Baby.” As we approach the 40th anniversary of Private Dancer, we’re thankful for this blessing. Long live the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll!
